GDTfoto

The winners of the GDTfoto competition have been announced, a competition that I didn't even know existed. But there is a lot of creative stuff in there so well worth a look. With the winning image being very different and good as long as you don't mind a bit of blood!

  1. Lovely shot - it reminds me of a synchronised swimmer performing for an audience:-)
BTW, I spotted a comment of yours on BirdingUK asking about owls in the area (I'm based in Reading).
I'm no expert on big birds (more of a garden bird/insect spotter), but I do know that Moor Copse nature reserve at Tidmarsh has Owls (Little & Tawny, and occasionally a Barn). Moorcopse.org.uk

You may want to take a look at ThamesValleyBirds.co.uk and ask, as there are a couple of people who know the local area quite well and do look out for the big birds.

  2. Louise,
Thank you for your kind words. Moor Copse looks like a good place especially as I pass it to go and look for kites so hopefully expect some pictures soon.

    Thank you for the tip.
